GuideRoc is built out of passion. I’ve been surrounded by business owners my entire life. From grandparents to both of my parents to my sister. Professionally, I have spent most of my working years supporting small and mid-size businesses in their efforts to build and structure successful operations. It’s time for me to build a business around my passion.
The purpose of GuideRoc is to improve the access to resources and tools that are hard to find, difficult to vet, and traditionally reserved for larger, better-capitalized businesses. These resources include area experts who would typically cost six figures to hire as full-time employees but are better suited for project-based work for SMBs. These experts cover business functions such as accounting, legal, tax, financing, sales, marketing, HR, insurance, IT, engineering, and more. These are people who would have saved my mother countless nights of worrying as she navigated the quagmires of running a business.
There are also a litany of tools out there that larger businesses spend tens of thousands a month to help run their business more smoothly or to boost efficiency from their employees. I’d like to help smaller businesses gain access to those tools at affordable rates.
Lastly, in my career, I’ve hired hundreds of people and interviewed over a thousand. There is some amazing talent out there who share a passion for small businesses. I want to give them an opportunity to help, whether for a few hours a month or more.
This is a project for me. I am leaving a lucrative job as a tech executive to dedicate all my working hours to making GuideRoc the connector the sector needs. GuideRoc will be successful if it can help a few of you run a more successful business.
